Ontario PCs Attracting Investment and Creating Jobs

President Trump’s tariffs are creating uncertainty for workers and businesses, but Ontario’s PC team is fighting back by attracting new investment, creating good-paying jobs and building a stronger, more self-reliant economy.

Since 2018, Ontario has attracted more than $235 billion in new investment, helping create more than one million jobs across the province.

That investment is coming because our PC team has lowered taxes, cut red tape and created the conditions for businesses to invest, grow and create jobs right here in Ontario.

In 2025 alone, 750 companies invested $35 billion in Ontario, directly creating 64,000 new jobs in key sectors including advanced manufacturing, technology, life sciences and agri-food.

And as the global economy changes, Ontario is well positioned to compete in growing sectors like artificial intelligence, critical minerals, defence and energy.

Through international trade and investment missions and initiatives like the first-ever Canada Investment Summit, our PC team is opening new doors for Ontario businesses and positioning our province as a destination of choice for companies from around the world.

While President Trump puts up tariffs, our PC team will keep fighting back by attracting investment, creating good-paying jobs and building an economy that can withstand whatever comes our way.
